"Strong Ties to the Bow Valley"
Like so many people that have migrated to the Bow Valley, I came for a weekend, twenty years ago and stayed for a lifetime. The obvious beauty of the entire valley from Mount Yamnuska in the east to Lake Louise in the west became my mountain playground. It also instilled in me a great deal of pride being part of this very special mountain community and forged in me a love of nature, a new found respect for our environment and a passion for outdoor adventure.
Through my love of Canada and my experiences in the mountains working with Mount Assiniboine Lodge, I took on the endeavor to complete a lifelong dream of Crossing Canada from the Atlantic Ocean in the East to the Pacific in the West, on the Trans Canada Trail, on my mountain bike. In May of 2003, I began that solo endeavor in Cape Spear, Newfoundland. Working hand in hand with the Trans Canada Trail Foundation I was able to locate and map the trail with GPS, collect altitude profiles, catalogue the many assets of the trail such as bridges and Trestles, and photograph and track trail conditions, which previously did not exist. That dream I had for so long was realized almost six months and after more than 10,000 kilometers of cycling and hiking I arrived in Victoria, British Columbia on October 12, Thanksgiving weekend. For details of the trip click here. I had a great deal to be thankful for, not the least of which was the chance to meet so many incredible people across this Great Country and to return to my home in Canmore and the beautiful Bow Valley.
Now I have chosen to invest that same energy, desire and determination into representing my neighbors in all of their real estate needs. Working together with Stuart Curran, my Broker and Mentor with over twenty five years of real estate experience in the Bow Valley, makes me confident I have all the necessary skills and assets to do the very best job representing my clients now and in the future. |
